I did not use the plan but the peace of mind was priceless. I was worried that if our flight was delayed for a covered event we'd miss our cruise. With this policy that would not be a worry!

I did have to file a claim. My husband suffered a stroke three weeks before we were to depart, and we cancelled the trip. I found parts of the claim form confusing, but the people I talked with were helpful. The claim took about a month to be settled for the full amount of the coverage.

Having trip insurance was a great peace of mind for our family during our 2 week long trip. We never worried about a thing because we knew that we had a great back up plan if anything went wrong. Thank you for the peace of mind!!

Someone became seriously injured (unknown origin) on our ship. We had to detour to Coast Guard off the San Diego Coast so they could be flown to a medical facility. This was on day one or two of our trip. I was happy I had the medical insurance (including emergency evac) and trip interruption insurance just in case it happened to us. A number of people I talked with did not have insurance on the ship. I used this incident as an example of why you should get it.

We were lucky as we did not have to use any of the coverage. It is hard to understand the coverage until you need it for something then you find out how good it is. I think the issues I wanted covered was covered in the policy. I would use CSA Travel Insurance again on our next vacation. The plan was very affordable. Thank you,
