Happily we didn't have any problems during our recent trip and therefore didn't have to file a claim. We purchased the plan for the coverage and the peace of mind it provided. So it was worth the cost to have that peace while we were away.

Since I had no problems on my journey I did not need to use my insurance. I was glad to have it, just in case it was needed. I cannot report on the insurance because I did not actually use it.

Although we had a small claim it was handled with professionalism by CSA. The price was fair and dealing with InsureMyTrip resulted in a lower cost than the cruise or travel industry offered. We are traveling again in Dec.2013 and we will use IMT again.

Fortunately we had no reason to use the plan. We have used it in the past and are satisfied with the costs involved, compared with most other plans, although our agent now offers plans that are very competitive. We will make a comparison on our next trip.

InsureMyTrip is very helpful in purchasing travel insurance. The CSA plan was fine; thankfully we did not have to file any claims. The weak point in the coverage is replacement of items in lost or stolen luggage. Coverage for the current market value of one's clothing is pointless; what the traveler wants is replacement cost.
