I felt the cost for the insurance was a bit high - $70 for a 14 day trip. I traveled to three countries in that amount of time, so it was worth it because the amount of plane travel and possibility of luggage lost or delays was high, but if I were only going to one country for 2 weeks, it would not have been worth it to me. Also, the accidental death amount ($10,000 benefit in case of an accidental death or dismemberment) would have been better if it were a little higher. Since the chances of that happening are much lower than the chance of lost luggage or a missed connection due to delay during travel over the holidays, I would have felt better if it had been a higher amount in the same package I purchased.

The trip went as planned. No need to file a claim but it was nice to have a policy in case the unexpected happened. The process in obtaining coverage was very easy. We will use "InsureMyTrip" when planning another major vacation.

I assume that the coverage was adequate and payments would be promptly handled. We have traveled the world extensively for 20 years and fortunately never have needed the insurance. However, it gives a secure feeling to know it is in place if we ever do need it.
