I really have no problem with the coverage - what I DO have a problem with is the increase in cost for basically the same insurance that I purchased on November 21, 2011 for $68.00 and five months later, for the SAME coverage the cost was $90.00?????????????? That's quite an increase in a short amount of time!! I did not purchase until 2 days before my trip so I didn't have time to shop around for a better rate with another company for the same coverage but I certainly will next trip to Paris which will be in September of this year!!

    We noticed you purchased a different plan and provider (Nov-2011) the coverages are different. The trip cost was also lower, that could be why the policy was cheaper.

I was very satisfied. it was easy to compare with other plans, cost was reasonable and it took alot of worry off my mind. Glad I didn't have to use it. Any rebate for no claims?

I have found CSA to be fair priced for the coverages I deem most important to us such as medical coverage and evacuation and in case of civil strife.

CSA is priced daily so the later to purchase the lower the price but always buy at the time of final payment so that the cost of the trip is completely covered.

Website easy to work with. After purchasing insurance, the cruise line lowered the price of the cruise. I contacted CSA and they immediately rebated a premium reduction due to the reduced cruise cost.

We did not need to use the coverage, but it was nice to know it was there. Having it as a safeguard made us better able to enjoy our trip worry free.

I guess you never know how good a policy is till you file a claim. I had to have minor surgery while on the cruise part of our trip. Got home and sent in a claim with all requested and required forms and documentation. Re-embursement was slow but paid in full. We would use CSA again.

Had to take my son to the dentist while overseas in France. Upon return to US and after submitting bills to my regular dental insurance, I was able to get the rest of the insurance claim taken care of through CSA. Their claims review was a little backlogged so it took a little bit longer than expected to receive payment, but they were very good about knowing where the claim was at in the pipeline. Would definitely use them again.

I admit, we didn't have to use the plan. I now think it was excessively expensive and I wish we hadn't bought it. It was recommended by French Country Waters and we took their advice. We mostly wanted insurance in case we could not make the trip. All the medical stuff came with it and we didn't have a choice. So it really wasn't what we wanted to begin with. However, I'm sure, had we needed it we might be grateful. We will not do it again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else.
