We did not have any reason to file a claim. But, several years ago we had to cancel a trip due to medical emergency. The claim was simple to file and paid quickly. I trust this company.

We planned a trip through Allegiant and bought travel insurance through their package. Once I read through the insurance coverage, I realized there was no refund if we had to cancel the trip, just a voucher with a time limit for redemption. We bought the package 6 months in advance. Because of our age (late 60s and early 70s) I cancelled the travel package. Then rebought the travel package without travel insurance and went shopping for our own coverage. General Global was our choice because of the coverage and price. Happily, we did not need to file a claim.

I did not have to use this plan, but reading the fine print it lacks some of the other basic coverage that other similar plans had. Either way, it's a good value for the price. Just make sure you read the fine print!
