On the InsureMyTrip website, I was offered a wide variety of plans to choose from. I called the toll free phone number, and spoke with a customer service representative who was very helpful in finding me the right plan, after my initial open enrollment period was expired.

When one buys trip insurance he or she hopes never to have to use it. Once again we have not had to use the plan we purchased so I guess it was fine. We have used CSA Travel Protection in the past and not ever having to use it, don't know how really good it is.

Thankfully, we have never had an instance to use the CSA Travel Protection plan, but it was a comfort to know it was there just in case.

This plan covered many events one might experience on a trip or vacation. In many cases, CSA's benefit limits were higher than competitor's coverages, and for a lower premium. I did not have to submit a claim, but one of the members of our cruise group slipped off a tour bus and broke her ankle. Since she is a seasoned traveler, I knew she had trip insurance. I am glad that she recommended that the rest of our group do the same. It is great peace of mind, since travel can be quite expensive, and like my friend, one never knows what can happen!
