This plan offers comprehensive Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption coverage if you have to cancel or interrupt for one of the listed covered reasons. We do offer plans that can provide coverage for a variety of different expenses if your flight is delayed. As you mention, our Travel Delay coverage requires a six hour delay or longer in order to provide reimbursement for certain out-of-pocket expenses you might incur while delayed, such as lodging, meals and local transportation. However, if your flight is delayed due to adverse weather, mechanical breakdown of your aircraft, or an organized labor strike, our Trip Interruption coverage can typically reimburse for additional transportation costs you may incur to return home or rejoin your group in addition to any prepaid non-refundable expenses that you had to forfeit as a result of the delay, regardless of its length. We never discourage our customers from filing claims, even if it appears the plan would be unable to provide coverage for you. We hope you’ll consider updating your review. I recommend travel insurance. This claim was regarding a flight delay resulting in 1 1/2 day of missed tour. CSA at least prorated a benefit. More than my traveling partner received from another insuremytrip supplier.

We had to cancel our river cruise because of a heart attack 2 days before our departure. We phoned CSA and got the process started several days later. We actually had our refund of the entire amount less that 2 weeks later. Great service!!
