Purchasing the insurance was easy. We didn't have a claim so I can't comment on whether they actually come through for the customer when a crisis occurs. It is best to read reviews of people who had to use their services.

I wanted a plan for medical evacuation only, but found that was no longer offered. This plan included evacuation along with medical and trip cancellation...all this at a reasonable cost

This was the first time that my wife and I purchased travel insurance. Our Japan excursion was a major event with a sizable financial investment and we wished to have adequate coverage in case of an unforeseen trip cancellation.
