Fortunately I Didn't need to use the coverage but I would still highly recommend this insurer. I went to Italy last year and was held back a couple of days due to a ATC strike. CSA reimbursed me for all related cost no questions asked except for required documentation.

I really think you should use total HOURS not days for the insurance. I left on a Red Eye but pay for the whole day. I also find that for a 72 hour trip the rates are too high.

On paper it seemed like a good plan. Fortunately, we had no reason to file a claim, so I cannot speak for how it might have functioned in practice. I recommend InsureMyTrip website because it is by far the easiest website to buy insurance from. I use it for business also.

This is my second time using InsureMyTrip. Thankfully, both times I did not have to use it, so I cannot report on how it works if I had a claim. However, it was easy to sign up and receive the coverage a few hours before leaving on my trip.
