The Standard plan is the most economical of the three plans offered by Generali Global Assistance. This plan offers comprehensive Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption coverage if you have to cancel or interrupt for one of the listed covered reasons. This plan also offers coverage for missed cruise connections and emergency assistance services.

Because there are no travel insurance plans that will cover every situation, InsureMyTrip encourages travelers to carefully review your policy certificate prior to purchasing the policy. Generali also offers a 10 day review period:
"10-DAY RIGHT TO EXAMINE YOUR DESCRIPTION OF
COVERAGE
If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may cancel coverage under the policy within 10 days after receipt. Your premium payment will be refunded, provided that there has been no incurred covered expense and you have not left on your Trip. Return the Description of Coverage to us at the Program Administrator’s office or our authorized agent. When so returned, the Description of Coverage is void from the beginning. After this 10-day period, the payment for this coverage is nonrefundable."
