Didn't use the insurance during our 6 week trip but the peace of mind sure helped as we traveled throughout Africa. Certainly worth the extra money.

My chief concern in purchasing this plan was to protect against the financial impact of serious illness in my elderly father, illness which might lead me to cancel the trip before it started or which might require me to return home early. I am glad to have this insurance and happy that I was able to complete the trip without interruption.
