As a claims adjuster, I was shocked at the poor customer service provided. Personnel didn't understand the policy or coverage. Could never speak to the claims representative. Complete documentation submitted on a relatively simple claim and yet it took over two months to be paid, and only when insuremytrip interceded.

Never heard from insurance company after they confirmed coverage and took my payment. I never had any need to use the insurance for my cruise.

Since I did not have to use the insurance plan, I really cannot comment on is effectiveness. It sure made me feel better knowing/hoping I would have medical and evacuation coverage in the event of an issue on my trip. The peace of mind was well worth the price I paid.

Insurance is an item that is a purchase that one NEVER wants to use and thus get the real monetary value. Your travel insurance gives us peace of mind knowing we have no monetary worries during our travel. We are very happy that we didn't need to use your insurance during our trip.
