After the initial purchase, I had to make changes as our plans changed. The representatives were very accommodating changing our coverage. Fortunately, we do not need to file a claim.

I became sick and was unable to understand the French operators to get a Dr. I called the help number and the women could not understand that I had a number and just wanted her to call it for me. France has a Dr SOS service that will send a Dr to your hotel. She put me on hold for a very long time and I gave up. I walked down the street to a pharmacy and was given a Dr's name and address and we went to his office for care. I had no help from this insurer.

I find it very hard to judge a plan until something happens-then you find out really how good/bad the plan and the company behind it is. I chose the plan but gratefully did not have to use it.

Would love to see a Rider options available to cover Rental cars. It was hard for me to find reasonable priced coverage for my rental cars. The rental car companies offered plans, but were very expensive.

The plan provided peace of mind in case anything happen before or during the trip. Good news was that I did not need to use it.

Unfortunately, I became ill on my trip and ended up needing medical attention and missing part of my tour. I filed a claim upon my return. I found the Insurance Company to be very easy to work with and they processed my claim around in a reasonable time frame. I would use them again.
