Like all insurance, you can be satisfied when you don't have a claim. The dissatisfaction comes when you do- and it is not covered. So since our trip was great, we are happy.

The process in selecting the coverage was easy and I think that we got the coverage that we needed. Fortunately, there was no need to test the response of the insurance company since we had no incident that would have resulted in a claim. Will definitely use the service again when the need comes up in the future.

We had to cancel the cruise due to major surgery. The plan covered the non-refundable costs. There was a lot of paperwork to document everything but would use them again.

Preferred Plus
I purchased Global Alert Preferred Plus, as it allows cancellation for any reason. The only drawback is that you must cancel two days in advance, if it's for one of the non-covered reasons. I would like to see this changed to 24 hours (or even 12). Other than that, I thought the coverage provided was excellent and I had a worry-free vacation (once I knew I didn't have to cancel).
