Thankfully, we did not have to use this insurance for our recent trip, though we thought we might have to when our luggage was lost enroute from Amsterdam to Edinburgh, Scotland. However, it was comforting to know that we had this financial coverage during our trip and it was a super-easy application process. We have already used InsureMyTrip again for an upcoming river cruise in March of 2019!

I LOVE Insure My Trip. I have used your company on several trips my husband and I have taken and I always have a good experience. I’ve never gotten trip insurance before, but the last out-of-country vacation I was on, a man we met suddenly got deathly ill and had to be evacuated. It was an immense help to his wife that he had trip insurance so she had one less worry. After witnessing that, it gave me peace of mind to have trip insurance myself this time, tho I’m very glad I didn’t need to use it!

Would have preferred a more custom-tailored plan in which I could choose which coverage items I needed, rather than having to pick a more expensive comprehensive one. I did not file a claim or contact the insurance company, so cannot comment on the service.
