The Global Alert Preferred plan offers comprehensive Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption coverage if you have to cancel or interrupt your trip due an unforeseen covered event.
Although we did not need to file a claim, we were very satisfied with the coverage supplied and the price. We were also very pleased with the service provided by InsureMyTrip.

Your review is not geared to having a claim so I don't want to give other would be customers a thumbs up when I have no idea how the claim would go. I will say this though, I called and spoke to your claims rep who was curt and annoyed when I was just inquiring about the possibility of a claim. If she is an indication of who I would get in the case of having an actual claim then I am concerned. And I don't like it that you ask me to review when I've never had a claim because the choices for my answers are at best insufficient and give the wrong impression that I'm a satisfied customer -- the last one, "Would you recommend..." well, I really don't know but you don't give me that option as a choice, the proof is when you have a claim and how you're treated and if you're taken care of after spending the money.

As with most insurance, the devil is in the details and I found the whole thing (what was covered, what wasn't) confusing. I wish everything could be summarized clearly in one page. I never understood exactly what I was getting for my purchase.
