We are completely dissatisfied with the insurance policy purchased from IMG. Our trip did not happen and they denied our claim, even though the coverage included the reason for the cancellation. We have filed an appeal and IMG has been completely non-responsive (other than their auto replies). At this time, we feel we have no option other than proceeding with a complaint to the state insurance department regarding fraud as well as contacting an attorney. We would not recommend using IMG.

I can not review the insurance plan for anything other that it was easy to purchase and the stated coverage looked Iike it would cover my concerns. Fortunately there were no claims so the last interaction we had was buying the policy this survey

Since I didn't file a claim, it's hard to speak to the customer service. However, I would say the process of acquiring the insurance was excellent. The plan seemed to be a good one for what we needed.

We have purchased many Trip Insurance policys over the years with "insure my trip" we will continue to do so. The problem came when I suddenly fell sick before our trip to Norway and was hospitalized with sepsis. We were with IMG, what a terrible situation they put us in, I wont go over the details but there were MANY, it took 43 days to pay out our policy, and I am sure it would not be paid now if it weren't for the ADVOCATE at INSURE MY TRIP, who did a fantastic job for us and single hand got us paid. In all fairness I guess I was told IMG was going thru some computer changes and that was part of the problem, but I could never talk to the same person working on my case anytime I asked for a supervisor they were not available, VERY POOR customer service. I found the process of investigating, selecting and understanding travel insurance very difficult. I am not certain I was adequately covered, and had I needed to file a claim, I felt like I might need an attorney to get the paper work correct.

Thank you for your comments. As you indicated, there is no doubt that it can be a difficult and confusing process when trying to select the best policy for your trip.
The International Medical Group iTravelInsured SE plan, as do all of our policies, include the full insurance certificate which explains all of the terms, conditions, and exclusions for that specific policy. In addition, any of the items that appear in blue print within your quote provides a hyperlink to more detailed information. Your International Medical plan also offers you a 10 day refund period:
"TEN-DAY LOOK: If You are not satisfied for any reason, You may cancel insurance under this Policy by giving the Company or the agent written notice within the first to occur of the following: (a) ten (10) days from the Effective Date of Your Insurance; or (b) Your Scheduled Departure Date. If You do this, the Company will refund Your premium paid provided no Insured has filed a claim under this Policy."

The claims process was very slow. I filed a claim on Dec 22, 2017 and it was finally paid on March 15, 2018. Otherwise, the process was fine.
