Excellent company and unique plan. Offers flexibility in percentage of at risk costs to insure and offers higher limits for medical coverage when desired. Older travelers with Medicare coverage have minimal primary health care coverage when traveling and can travel with confidence with the LX plan.

I always use Insure My Trip for purchasing travel insurance. Lots of options, great website, easy to compare plans. When I've had a question and called for assistance customer service has always been easy to reach, helpful, knowledgeable.
I did not have to use the policy I purchased as I had no issues. I thought the policy was fairly priced and provided the coverage I required. I'll be back before my next travels. Thank you!

I got dengue fever while in Asia and had 2 months worth of medical bills. Some with receipts, some without. We contacted them at time of patient care telling them that the Vietnamese doctor didn't speak english and wouldn't give me receipts, so they did not reimburse that portion ($400), although I thought they should since we contacted them as it was happening. They did however reimburse for the amount of the receipted medical expenses, but it took 3 months for the check to come.
