Fortunately, I encountered no problems on my trip, so did not have to file a claim. Therefore, cannot evaluate how John Hancock responds in processing and paying for claims.

It's difficult to evaluate the plan coverage and accessibility, since we never had to use it. It gives peace of mind to know/believe that you have adequate insurance coverage.

Had a missed connection on return trip from Europe to U.S. Filed claim and submitted receipts for hotel, meals, and taxi rides. John Hancock processed and reimburnsed all expenses in full, with ease, and promptly.

Luckily I didn't need to file a claim, so am assuming all claims would have been covered.
It gave me peace of mind when traveling to Australia for one month, knowing all the things that could go wrong, but luckily, didn't!
