The insurance is easily bought online, fully documented and emailed to you. The the true test of a good plan, however, is when you have to file a claim. Fortunately, I did not have to do that.

One again we did NOT require any claims during this trip, a long journey to fairly inaccessible Antarctica! We were able to purchase a plan that covered about anything that could have happened to us--and an evacuation plan if it did-- and had no doubt we would be covered. We've only had one claim over the years of purchasing travel insurance thru insuremytrip, and the claim was handled fairly and reasonably promptly. We always get our travel insurance thru insuremytrip.com! Highly recommend them.
