I did not need to file a claim for this trip, but I have filed 4 claims with Nationwide travel insurance over the last several years, and all 4 were handled promptly and courteously. We will continue to use Nationwide for our cruise travel insurance.

I had to cancel our trip due to an illness that prevented travel which occurred prior to our scheduled departure. The claim representative who I spoke to was friendly and helpful. She emailed me the necessary claim forms and emphasized that I should be sure to submit all of the requested documents to enable the claim examiner to make a decision. I submitted all of the documents by email. Within less than 30 days I received 2 checks in the mail (1 for me and 1 for my husband) reimbursing us for the full amount of the trip. I would highly recommend Nationwide and insuremytrip.com.
