We were on a cruise with a tight schedule and limited access to internet. We had a flight delay that caused us to miss a prepaid tour which would have been a covered loss under our policy. However, the policy required that we make a written claim within 7 days of the claimed loss. We missed that deadline.
It's my own fault for not reading and understanding the requirements. However, I believe that this requirement is completely unreasonable -- especially for a TRAVEL policy.

Fortunately, I did not have to file a claim for you for my trip protection, , Just a thought of having my needs covered in case it was needed, made my vacation much more enjoyable.
