We eventually received a check in the mail for our claim. (There are 2 other checks still pending to our adult children living in other states.) But the only responses we ever got to our claim submission were emailed auto responses without anyone ever acknowledging what we had submitted or whether it was what was needed. The claims handling other than saying "we are swamped" was exceedingly noncommunicative.

FIrst time I had to use my travel insurance I had two canceled flights and had to stay overnight. I used this insurance to cover part of my costs. Air Canada refused to cover my entire hotel cost after having to stay overnight. It was easy to submit a claim. Not a long wait and I received an email for additional documentation (just my original boarding passes). Wasn't a long wait after that, I received a check for the amount I requested.

We were very fortunate not to have to file any claims for this trip. I like the InsureMyTrip app. If I had any problems, it would have been very easy to contact the proper people.

This was the first time in my life taking out travel insurance. We had a tropical storm interrupt our trip keeping us from making it to our hotel reservation. That hotel still charged us for the full amount & being stuck an extra night on a different island we had to quickly find accommodations for that night . The policy we purchased covered both of us for both nights . After I filled out a claim & submitted receipts I happily received full reimbursement for both lodgings . It did take about 8weeks , but I was told when I submitted my claim that they were short staffed & it would take awhile . They even sent me an email after 4 weeks apologizing for the delay . I was thrilled to get reimbursed which encouraged me to purchase this same insurance for our next trip ! Thank u

We initially scheduled our trip to Antarctica for the 2020/2021 season. When Covid hit, our trip was cancelled. Because of this insurance, we were able to recoup our money and reschedule our trip to 2022/2023. Our trip was saved and was awesome!
