Luckily I did not have to use any part of this plan but the peace of mind having it for the price I paid was well worth it at 74 years old you never know when you may have to. It was the least expensive plan I found with the same if not more coverage then the others I researched.

I supplied all the documentation on 2/9/17. I got my checks on 4/13.
There were two problems. The reviewer would not accept a paid statement from the cruise line as proof of payment. The notification of this rejection was not communicated clearly resulting in delays.
Put another way, this the kind of BS we expect from insurance companies. Delaying payment to improve their cash flow. I made numerous phone calls and it still took over 2 months.

Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. I'm sorry that I didn't respond earlier (found this in old email). I did experience the theft of my purse at the Nice Airport and Nationwide "had my back". While, of course, there were financial limitations which meant that my losses exceeded the reimbursement, I was pleased with how I was treated by phone and was surprised by the quick response to my claim. You are my "go to" now! Thanks so much for making an upsetting incident much less.

Knowing I had the protection is reassuming to my family and myself. The good news is the trip did not realy test the questions above asked. Still I will buy it again through Insuremytrip, you will get remainder before you leave about what you have purchase as well as tips about travel. Never overdone.

Fortunately we did not need to file a claim for our son while studying abroad for a month in France, but it was nice to have that sense of security the plan gave us in case of an emergency.
