I purchased the plan in case of emergency and was satisfied with my purchase. There was a medical evacuation on our ship which made me even more grateful for having a little insurance.

Our return from a skiing trip to Big Sky Montana was delayed for three days by winter storm Jonas. When we were notified of our flight cancellation, I immediately called the toll free claims number. The rep I spoke with was very polite and issued a claim number and emailed me a claim form. As requested, I kept receipts for my extra nights in the hotel and food for the delay days. After three days we were able to get a return flight home. Within three days I filed a claim. Within three weeks of filing my claim, I received payment in full for my extra hotel and food costs during my travel delay. I could not be more pleased!!

Did not have to use it. On a cruise ship for 7 nights and living in the city where the ship departed from, there really was no issue in lost luggage or delayed flights. I was more concern if one of got sick and or I have an 90 year old mother, that I was worried about. But everyone was fine and did not need insurance.

I purchased this plan in good faith. When our trip was changed to an earlier departure date, we were not informed of this change. Of course, we missed the trip and as soon as I found out I called the insurance company. They said the policy did not cover what had happened to us. They would not refund our money, even though the original trip date was 3 weeks away. They said they could transfer this plan to another trip but we would have to know where and when the next trip would be. We did not have another trip planed in the near future so we lost the cost of the insurance.
