Good plan for a reasonable price. Process was fairly simple. However, I think most of these insurance plans are overpriced.

I called a rep when my luggage didn't arrive in Ethiopia and was informed of a complicated process to follow within 3 weeks to receive some compensation. I would still be traveling at that time and was told that there was a 21 day deadline. getting help from seven corners to file a lost luggage claim was not forthcoming.

We did have a family death but I decided not to cancel the trip as the paperwork involved seemed too much to ask a grieving husband to provide to file a claim. I went to the wake but skipped the funeral to head on to my trip. We are insuring our next trip with them, however.

Since thankfully I did not need to make a claim, I can't comment about how efficient and timely the claim process would be. That is the most important question.

We almost had to make a claim when the English train thought they had lost our luggage with all our carefully-purchased souvenirs. We were panicking, but at least felt reassured that we had insurance to cover our losses.

I finally after more than five months managed to get most of my money back from a trip canceled in January. I became sick, had to return home and have been jerked around like you wouldn't believe. Even though I had verification of my claim, they made me repeatedly resend information they already had. The supervisor of [Name Removed] wasn't cooperative. She was actually rude. I was on the verge of tears many times----couldn't believe what I had to go through. I am getting the majority of expenses returned through much effort on my part. This company isn't honest and really puts one through the paces to get any positive action. I will never use them again and neither will any of my friends if I can help it. Thank you for listening, or should I say reading. InsureMyTrip was very helpful in getting results and explaining things to me. No human being should have had to go through what I did.
