Our bag was stolen from a bus in Chile so we had to make our first ever travel insurance claim. I was dreading it, having heard horror stories about delayed or refused claims. We put together a detailed claim with a police report, a full analysis of what was in the bag (from toothpaste to hiking boots!) and as many receipts as we could drag together and it was approved within 3 weeks and the check was in our hands a few days later. We were relieved and impressed. Although the coverage limit was less than our claim that was fine - we had chosen a plan that gave us adequate coverage and it came through. Our experience was excellent and I will plan on buying this policy again for future travels. Thank you.

Delta offered us cheap coverage for the flights but we wanted the extra coverage for other arrangements. Delta would probably be cheaper for just the flight portion.

I didn't buy life insurance because I want to die and collect! I bought Insurance for our trip in case of a mishap. None occurred and we had full peace of mind lest the luggage got lost or one of us had a serious illness. We were totally satisfied.
