Although we did not need to use the insurance, it gave us the peace of mind if we needed it.
We spent 19 days going all over China and we were glad we had purchased the insurance.
Visiting all the ancient cities the steps are rarely even, not to mention the crazy traffic.

I picked this product for an extended vacation for myself and family of 4. While we did not have to file a claim, I felt this was the best product and of most value for what our needs were. Good communication via email with proper contact information at hand. I would select this product again.

While I would not recommend this particular plan, I would definitely recommend insuring through InsureMyTrip.com rather than counting on spotting coverage from one's credit card!

I did not have to file a claim so I really can't judge. The real test is how they respond to a claim but it's better to be safe than sorry.

My husband Bob passed away on January 2nd and I cancelled the whole trip on my own. I didn't contact you because of the reply on the first trip I had to cancel in January, that you couldn't help me. Thank you for you product again we didn't travel because of his passing way to soon.

I was going to do a claim for medical and decided after spending an hour trying to get the forms sent to me and them trying to find my coverage that it wasn't even worth it, especially will all the paperwork I needed to complete and to provide proof of payment of the plan when in deed they knew I purchased the plan OR it wouldn't' even be in the system. I don't have time to do the stuff asked when its nonsense!

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. The supporting documentation required for travel insurance claims is standard. It sounds as if the claims department was asking for proof of payment for the trip.

obviously the trip was paid for if I bought insurance and went, with proof of my receipt from the cruise ship doctor. Having to collect credit card statements of my trip bought would take time. Regardless of the trip being paid, If I bought insurance and my receipt is from a cruise ship that should be proof.Jun 08,2016-

The documentation that you are being asked to provide may seem redundant, but it is a universal requirement for travel insurance claims. On average, the claims process takes between 3-5 weeks. We would also like to apologize for the unfortunate circumstances that led up to this review. When you notified us to revise your policy to cover a different trip, we followed TravelSafe's standard procedure for transferring coverage which included advising TravelSafe that you incurred a penalty. TravelSafe, along with most of our companies, reserves the right to decline to cover the new trip if there were any penalties so they declined with no offer to refund your premium. However, you diligently pursued coverage and TravelSafe agreed to cover your trip.
