Thank goodness we didn't have to use it, but it was a peace of mind knowing we did have it. We recommended it to our niece for her honeymoon and they also bought it. Will use again and again.

Our major concern in purchasing cruise insurance is travel medical coverage, including emergency evacuation. We look for the most coverage for the lowest possible premium. We have found the best value on InsureMyTrip for all our cruises.

We had 1 of 3 bags lost for 9 days. The travel assistance company was constantly in touch with us and the air carrier with trying to locate and return the bag and their service was very good. However, the actual claim filing and processing time was lengthy and the phone representatives were not very friendly. Lastly $250 max for a day or 2 delay is ok, but for 9 days with clothing for 2 kids, $250 does not get you far clothing kids on vacation with no wash machine access.

This was a better option than offered by our cruise line. I do wish more coverage was offered for delayed flights as this happens so often.

This was a very easy process to cover our initial deposit last Fall, and then add the final cost of our trip in May, 2014. The customer service representatives were knowledgeable and very helpful with any questions that I had. It was reassuring to have trip coverage for unanticipated trip cancellation or medical emergency expenses. Great product.
