They are very slow to respond taking over a month after they receive your claim to contact you saying they need more information. Everything they claim was required was provided. From start to end, with many phone calls expressing my displeasure, it took them over 2 months to resolve the claim. Would not recommend.

The coverage gave me a great peace of mind. Our cruise had to stop once for the coast guard to do a emergency evacuation for a passenger. We also had to make one unexpected dock to a port to due a emergency evacuation for a passenger. So that when I realize how important trip insurance is. Although I did not need to file a claim. It was nice knowing I was covered if needed.

The best thing was the peace of mind that if an unforeseen emergency happened we had coverage. At our age (60's) anything is possible.

1) Available within 10-30 days of your initial trip payment (depending on the policy).
2) You MUST insure 100% of your pre-paid and non-refundable trip cost.
3) Cancellation of your travel arrangements and notification of the insurance company must occur more than 2 days before your scheduled departure date.
4)You will be reimbursed between 50%-75% of trip cost depending on the policy.
