Thank you for your review. The premiums are based on the age of the travelers and the length of the trip. Unfortunately, as travelers get older, it does cause the insurance premiums to increase. Did not need to use the insurance but it’s great peace of mind to know if anything happened while in a foreign country any medical care is covered. You never know if you trip, fall, break a leg, get sick, need stitches and so forth...it’s best to have insurance that is accepted in that country.

I purchased the plan for my parents visiting Japan for a week. Luckily they didn't have to file a claim, however, it's nice to have an insurance for emergency.
