Nationwide Luxury Cruise

Nationwide Travel Insurance Logo

Nationwide Luxury Cruise

The Nationwide Luxury Cruise plan is available to those who will be traveling on a cruise during their trip. It offers the highest benefit amounts of the three Nationwide Cruise plans. This plan is available for those who may be going on longer, more expensive cruises, as it allows for a maximum trip cost of up to $50,000 per person with a trip length up to 120 days.

The Luxury Cruise plan includes important coverage such as trip cancellation and trip interruption, if you need to cancel prior to departure or interrupt after departure for a covered reason. Other comprehensive travel insurance benefits include baggage protection, travel delay, missed connection, medical, emergency medical evacuation and non-medical evacuation coverage to list a few.

This plan offers optional Cancel for Any Reason coverage for residents of most states that meet all eligibility requirements. This will reimburse up to 75% of your pre-paid, non-refundable trip costs if you have to cancel your trip for something other than a covered reason. With Cancel for Any Reason, cancellation must no later than two days prior to departure. The benefit will allow you to recoup a percentage of the money you originally paid for your cruise.

Unlike the Universal Cruise plan, but similar to the Choice Cruise plan, this plan includes a pre-existing conditions exclusions waiver. This will reimburse for covered medical care needed due to a pre-existing condition, if the plan is purchased within 14 days of initial trip payment and all other requirements are met.

A trip can be planned on a whim or it could be something that has been saved for and dreamed about for a long time. Even with the best planning, a medical issue or a travel delay may arise, and this coverage and assistance services can help you in your time of need.

John Hancock Insurance Agency, Inc. Gold

John Hancock Travel Insurance Logo

John Hancock Insurance Agency, Inc. Gold

The John Hancock Gold plan offers the highest coverage limits of the three plans provided by John Hancock Insurance Agency on InsureMyTrip. The plan includes many of the standard coverages included in comprehensive travel insurance plans, as well as other helpful benefits and optional upgrades to make the plan meet your needs.

In the Gold plan, you’ll find the standard benefits to protect your travel investment. Trip cancellation, trip interruption, travel delay, baggage protection, emergency medical and emergency medical evacuation are all coverage offered by this plan.

The Gold plan also offers coverage for missed connection. For instance, if you miss your cruise, due to a covered reason (like a weather-related flight delay), this plan offers a benenfit to help with the cost of getting you to the next port of call to meet your cruise.

Like the Bronze and Silver plans, the Gold plan does provide coverage for pre-existing conditions – if you are eligible. In the event that you have to make a claim due to a covered medical reason, the pre-existing condition exclusion may be waived if the plan is purchased within 14 days after making the initial trip deposit (and all other eligibility requirements are met).

This plan also lists several additional benefits available for purchase. If needed, you can add on rental car collision coverage as well as an additional rider that would allow you to cancel for any reason. If you add rental car coverage, be sure to check with your rental car company to see if they will honor the coverage. If you meet the eligibility requirements of Cancel For Any Reason Rider and you purchase this optional coverage, you would have the choice to cancel for reasons outside of the covered Unforeseen Events up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure date and receive up to 75% of your pre-paid and non-refundable trip cost. The additional John Hancock Gold plan Cancel For Any Reason coverage is not available in all states.

International Medical Group Patriot America Lite

The International Medical Group Patriot America Lite plan is a single-trip medical plan which offers coverage for non-U.S. residents traveling outside of their home country with a U.S. visit. The unexpected can happen when you are traveling, no matter your destination. You can be prepared with extra medical coverage during your trip.

The Patriot America Lite plan provides you with the option of choosing for a range of medical coverage limits. Available options are $50,000, $100,000, $250,000, $500,000, $1,000,000 for anyone 69-years-old or younger. If you are 70-79, the maximum medical limit options available are $50,000 and $100,000. If you are 80 or older, the maximum is $10,000. This plan also has a pre-existing condition look-back period of three years.

This plan comes defaulted with a $250 standard deductible. A traveler may opt to select a different deductible amount from a range of options. This allows you to build a plan that works for your coverage needs and your out-of-pocket expenses.

Finding the best care while you’re traveling is often a concern. This plan offers evacuation coverage for emergency medical needs as well as political and natural disaster evacuation and repatriation. These benefits will help to cover costs for transportation if deemed necessary due to the circumstances and arranged through the assistance company.

The Patriot America plan also includes limited travel-related benefits for trip interruption and baggage. This will help for a variety of reasons. If your bags are lost or stolen during the trip, you may be eligible for reimbursement. If you need to interrupt your trip due to a covered reason, the plan can help to defray the cost of getting back home.

This plan also has a few optional coverages for travelers. You can choose to add the Adventure Sports Rider for added coverage during your trip. Please refer to the full certificate for further details.
