I bought the GeoBlue Voyager Choice Plan to travel from France, Germany and Poland to have a peace of mind for my pilgrimage trip. I am a widow in my mid seventy, in good health because I exercise daily, walking and swimming but I felt a need this time to get a medical insurance in addition to my health insurance just for emergency. The money is worthy. I would recommend to friends and relatives as well.

My husband and I just returned from France. We were there 30 days for my work. Luckily, we did not need the insurance while we were there, but it was nice knowing we had it just in case.

we deliberately bought a plan in case of trip interruption but when we almost missed our connection due to a strike by Air France Traffic Control we found in the small print - that we had not seen in the summary at time of purchase online - that the $5000 coverage we thought we had only applied in the case of the death of a relative or our house burning down!!!!!!! ridiculous!!!! not at all what is normally understood by trip interruption. Next time I will call a broker and go through what is available line by line. I no longer trust your summaries and am just grateful that we managed to make our connection.

My health plan does not cover overseas treatment, and since we are getting older, such coverage is prudent, and travel insurance provides that. Fortunately, we didn't require any treatment.
I thought we might need to file a claim when an expensive balloon ride was cancelled due to weather, but the operator returned our money.
