It was easy to purchase online. I felt good about this product because I already use BCBS as my Medicare supplement & have been pleased with their plan.

Travel Guard MedEvac Plan
I aways buy the AIG Travel Guard MedEvac insurance when I travel. It is a very good value for what it offers and I am glad that it is so easy to buy on InsureMyTrip. I used to buy it from my travel agent but is such a hassle for a small amount to them. And most other people really don't want to bother selling it as it is so small.

Travel Guard MedEvac Plan
We were in touch with them as my husband developed a medical problem and we weren’t sure if we would have to leave the cruise ship. I was unable to reach them by email as they only list a phone # and I was out at sea. I emailed my son in the states and he reached them and was able to get me a contact name , email address and claim #. They were very supportive and explained limits of our coverage. Since I only purchased emergency evacuation I would have had to pay if we decided to just fly home early but would have coverage if ship MD disembarked us to hospital. Luckily things improved so we stayed on the ship and no claim was filed. I was impressed with the help and response I got from this company.
