The signup process was easy. I did have one question to which I could not find an answer. When I called, the representative answered my question quickly and efficiently. Thankfully, I did not have to use the insurance overseas, but I would not leave the US without it.

My wife and I travel internationally once or twice a year. While we've never had an accident or become ill, we've been growing more concerned about what would happen if the worst occurred. We purchased insurance coverage for the 1st time on a recent trip, didn't need it, but slept better knowing we had it.

I never had to use my plan but it provided peace of mind. The customer care representative helped me select just what coverage I needed. He never tried to up-sell me. I wish health insurance was this easy/reasonably priced back home!

I didn't need the insurance ultimately, but was glad to have proof of insurance available in case something went wrong. The medical insurance plan was quite affordable for our Japan trip.
