The insurance was easy to buy, and covered everything at a fair price. I would never take a major trip without insurance. The best policy is the one against which you do not file a claim!

The plan seemed fine. Happily I had no need to use it. In ski areas I learned that evacuation insurance was available at a minimal cost when one purchased a lift ticket. If aware of this I might have opted for a lesser package.

This is not a review since I did not have to use the services of the plan. I would like to ask a question, i.e. what is the meaning of the numeral "2" especially as refers to Emergency Medical Evacuation? Would I have been evacuated if the need had arisen?

Thank you for your question. The red "2" indicates secondary coverage. (in lieu of primary coverage.) Primary coverage will pay first, before any other collectible insurance. Secondary coverage will pay you after any other Primary collectible insurance has paid the claim and the Primary policies' limits have been exhausted.Sep 16,2013
