Since we did not file a claim on this plan I do not have more to say at this time. I have to be careful (I am not totally certain which plan is being referred to in this email) because we purchased three plans for three separate trips and will not file claims on two of them but we will be filing a claim on our trip to Alaska. That will be the key to how we feel about your plans and the service provided.

Since my plans were made in November 2016 and I wasn't traveling until June 2017, I thought it prudent to purchase insurance because of the time span involved. It was a smart move because I became ill and needed to cancel the trip. From my first call to AIG and further emails with a representative, I couldn't have been treated in a more friendly and concerned manner. In the last call I received I was told I would be receiving a full refund, which I did. I would definitely recommend purchasing the AIG Travel Guard Basic Plan to anyone who is traveling. It would certainly give them peace of mind to know the protection would be there for them if needed. I know I will use AIG on my next trip.

I think it is silly to ask for a review-unless a file was claimed. My review of the process finding the policy ststed that this was the best one, I was dismayed at the variation in prices with the same coverage. This was , what I thought, the best deal

We were required to obtain a health policy according to school requirements. Was what we needed but really wish the price was a bit less expensive based on distance/number of days etc.. But will use this again when we are required to have coverage for our students. Need a plan for college/school related trips???

Although we can understand your concern since you did purchase this plan for only 3 days, you still purchased the plan for 5 students at an average rate of only 17.40 USD per person. You will be pleased to know that AIG Travel Guard would have done an excellent job if you had needed them in an emergency.Apr 11,2017
