The AIG Travel Travel Guard Gold plan offers mid-level coverage and more options than Travel Guard Basic and Travel Guard Silver, allowing you to customize the plan to best fit your needs. In addition to Trip Cancellation, this plan offers Cancel for Any Reason coverage and a Pre-Existing Conditions Waiver. Children age 17 and under are free when there is at least one covered adult on the plan.

We looked at several options, including from the cruise-line, and this gave us the best coverage for a reasonable price. We didn't need to use the insurance, but it gave me confidence knowing that we had it.

Fortunately, I've never had to use any of the Travel Guard plans that I've purchased, so I don't know how "user friendly" the policies are!
