The AIG Travel Travel Guard Gold plan offers mid-level coverage and more options than Travel Guard Basic and Travel Guard Silver, allowing you to customize the plan to best fit your needs. In addition to Trip Cancellation, this plan offers Cancel for Any Reason coverage and a Pre-Existing Conditions Waiver. Children age 17 and under are free when there is at least one covered adult on the plan.

I have used Travel Guard for my last three trips, and find it to be easy to pick the coverage I need at a reasonable cost. One of my trips was delayed due to a health issue, and the response by Travel Guard was excellent. Not only did they explain the claim procedure completely they processed my claim within 30 days. I will continue to use them exclusively.

Bought this plan at the last minute because of some sleepless worried nights. I was really concerned about medical coverage since we were traveling out of the country with our 5 children, but when our flight was delayed 2 days on our return I breathed a sigh of relief when I remembered the insurance policy I had purchased. Meals, lodging, and transportation for 7 people for 2 days adds up quite quickly. My husband wanted to give me a "Wife of the Year" Award for thinking to buy this policy! The travel assistance people were wonderful. They found and booked us adjoining rooms from the airport. What could have been a hugely stressful situation-being stranded 2000 miles from our home-was only mildly stressful. When we came home, I turned in all my receipts and filled out a small amount of paperwork. I had a check in the mail within 3 weeks. Easy and helpful. I can not praise Travel Guard enough.

Cruise insurance at a reasonable cost. Terrific savings by purchasing this plan instead of purchasing travel insurance directly from the cruise line. The InsureMyTrip customer service representative was most helpful in finding the right policy to cover pre-existing medical conditions.

Thankfully, we had no issues. I was to travel by car from Tennessee to Florida to make my cruise connection. Weather and road conditions can change quickly. The customer service representative recommended this policy because it had the specific coverage I needed. The customer service representative understood my concern and found a policy that fit.
