This plan was very comprehensive and gave me great peace of mind. My Mother is 91 years old. Her mind is as sharp as a tack, but the body just doesn't cooperate sometimes. She is extremely independent and still lives alone in her house. I flew my sister in to stay and visit with her while I was gone for three weeks to England. At 91 she is not without some health issues and things can change very quickly. I have to be able to change plans at the drop of a hat! My husband and I are 71 and 65 respectively, and while we are both healthy, we are very aware of health issues and accidents that can happen to interrupt your travel plans. Our peace of mind was well worth the small investment for insurance. Would not travel without it!

I found the process very easy and the representative knowledgeable and thorough. Fortunately I did not need to file a claim so I can't comment on that process.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. As you correctly pointed out, the best time to purchase this plan is within 14 days of making your initial trip payment/ deposit. In doing so, you can qualify for financial default, pre-existing conditions waiver, and Cancel For Any Reason. Time sensitive benefits are available on the majority of providers comprehensive plans and can also include Cancel For Work Reasons.Jul 10,2014
