It's been FIVE MONTHS since I filed my claim and...nothing. Every time I call, they say they're just about to look at it. They they promise the analyst will call me back. Then...nothing.

Travel insurance only works if the company responds when you need them to. This is not a company you can count on.

We bought the plan with "cancel for any reason" protection, which we used when we decided to cancel our trip. We'd spent $1000 on non-refundable airfare and got 75% ($750) back as per the policy. It only took about a week and a half to get our money back. Very pleased with this service!

This is tricky to review since I never actually used the plan. Everything looked good and the customer service line was helpful when I called to ask some questions prior to purchased, but never having made a claim I can't say for certain if this was a good plan or not. I had to rate with stars, thus the high ratings, though they could possibly change if I had to make a claim.

We had to use the cancel for any reason part of our plan. It was a little complicated collecting all the proof but not too bad. They did ask for one more piece of proof but then paid our claim promptly. They reminded me when I hadn't filed in 45 days which I felt was very kind. Overall I would use them again.

I called several times to increase my coverage as I was booking my own accommodations for a 30 day, 3 island trip to Hawaii. As I booked flights, condo's, etc I just called to increase the value of our coverage to ensure covered. Every call was handled promptly, efficiently and with extreme courtesy. Thankfully our trip went exactly as planned and no claim needed to be filed so I can not provide any info in that area. I would recommend.

I would never use this company again! We were given incorrect information 2 out of the 3 times we called. Just shy of 48 of our departure our destination was placed under a tropical storm warning. We called to see what our options were. We were told by not just one, but two employees that we could cancel our trip under the "any reason" clause even though we were slightly under the 48 hour deadline. We questioned this multiple times because we were technically less than 48 hours before our flight. We were assured that the claims department would be understanding of the inclement weather since it was a named tropical storm and would be entitled to 75% refund of all non-refundable monies paid. We were told that as long as we cancelled that evening we would still be allowed to cancel. We decided not to take chances with the bad weather and chose to cancel our trip. When we called back for the 3rd time, we were told that if we were to cancel we would not received any of our money back because we were under the 48 hour mark. This employee identified herself as a supervisor and said that the other two employees had given us incorrect information. If we had not called that 3rd time we would have missed our whole trip and wouldn't have been refunded a penny. There were other discrepancies in the several conversations my husband and I had with the employees that I won't waste time detailing, but there were also significant errors. Luckily, we went on our trip and everything was fantastic - the storm turned and weather was great. However, if we had trusted the employees working for this company we would have been out of about $6,000.00. I would never recommend this company to anyone. As a customer we relied on them to give us correct information so we could make informed decisions. This situation could have ended very badly.
