Bought this plan for a trip to Spain and had to file a travel interruption claim. It took forever to get in contact with someone to file the claim when we got back. Then it took 2 months for Travel Insured to request additional paper work. Then it took over a month after that to fully process my claim for much less than I felt I was due. No communication during the 3 months besides the request for additional information. Horrible, horrible customer service and a ridiculously long processing time. Then barely an explanation of my claim amount and why it was less than 1/3 of my initial claim. Never again will I purchase a travel insured plan.

We had to cancel the trip when my wife was diagnosed with Stage III breast cancer. After a small glitch we were contacted by their customer support team which cleared the way to a full resolution. We're happy campers now. Great customer support team - thanks!

Not certain whether the plan would cover prepaid events and expenses such as museum passes, location tours or prepaid shuttle service to and from airport when traveling independently.

The plan appears to be appropriate and the price is right and the website is easy to use. I have recommended it to a number of people. I did file a claim in 2013 because of needing a hip replacement and that claim was paid with no problem.
