Thankfully I did not have to utilize the insurance. The pricing is fair compared to other travel insurance offered and it does cover much more so I suppose it's great. I think overall if it was a little cheaper I'd be happier!!

Luckily, we did not have to use the policy. We always purchase travel insurance for piece of mind. Have no history with the company, but it is highly rated. We do our homework before purchasing any policy.

Of course everything seems great when you don't need to use insurance. Overall, the value seemed fair which is why I chose the plan I chose. Had I needed the plan, I clearly would have had a different experience. I've used InsureMyTrip before and seemingly keep coming back so that's a good sign. We cannot fully comment with this plan because we are not able to use it. All our plane, excursions, transfers and actual cruise went well. Be using it again come November for Southern Caribbean cruise.

I have not filed a claim on this plan, although I am looking into the coverage for a delayed flight. I purchased this one because it offered the best cost/coverage value for a three-week European trip.
I purchased a different plan last year, and did file a fairly large claim after having to return prematurely due to illness. While it took a couple of months to be paid, I was very satisfied with Insure My Trip's service and the results.

Each Company will base the premiums of their plans on three main factors; (1) the ages of the travelers, (2) the length of your trip from home to home and (3) the total pre-paid and nonrefundable trip cost. As the traveler's ages change, trip costs increase or the length of the trip is extended, the prices will also change accordingly.
