Of course, one never knows if one is truly covered until an actual claim is filed. Fortunately, I haven't had to do that. That said, I did feel very comfortable traveling knowing that I did have some kind of "security blanket" wrapped around me.

We used Travel Insured for a previous trip when we ended up having a severe travel delay (two days thanks to the snowstorm in New York). Travel Insured was extremely easy to work with (by phone and email) and processed our claim very quickly, which is why we used them again for our latest trip. On this trip, I realized after we departed that I'd written the incorrect start date for the policy. I contacted Travel Insured by email and they responded almost immediately and changed the dates of my coverage and sent me an updated coverage plan. They were very courteous. I was very impressed and will use them as my insurance for future travel plans.
