This is a great benefit to have pre-departure for unforeseen circumstances in which you may have to cancel your trip that may not be listed under the plan's covered reasons.

I booked a New Year's Eve cruise for 2024 that I had to cancel due to unforseen circumstances. I purchased cancel for any reason insurance
just in case.
I'm glad I did. It was a little more costly, but worth it. I submitted all the paperwork to the Insurance Company and received notification that I would be reimbursed 75% of prepaid nonrefundable trip costs.
It took about thirty days to be notified that the claim would be paid. The claims submission process was relatively seamless, and completed online. Very pleased.
