I bought this policy in case of unforeseen illness or death of an elderly in-law. Luckily, I didn't need to file a claim. All in all, this coverage appears to be the best of the insurance plans for me and my partner. I liked that they contacted me via e-mail just prior to my trip.

We had booked the same trip last year, but my husband had kidney problems. We had to cancel the trip, and John Hancock paid immediately.
