The Silver plan is the mid-level policy offered by John Hancock and may be ideal for families traveling with children, as kids 17 and under are free as long as one parent is covered under the plan. Coverage is offered if you have to cancel or interrupt your trip for a typical covered reason which can range from an unforeseen illness, injury or death to your destination being made uninhabitable by a natural disaster. The Silver plan does offer higher limits of coverage than the Bronze plan for Baggage, Travel Delay, Medical and Emergency Medical Evacuation.

I had to change my travel dates last minute, and InsureMyTrip Customer Service was very helpful. John Hancock sent me an updated policy within a day or two, and everything went off without a hitch. For a very small price, I was able to have complete peace of mind that we were covered during our trip. I will definitely use this plan again in the future.

This policy was perfect for us, and at a price I was comfortable paying. I had never purchased trip insurance before, but since we planned a major family vacation six months in advance, we wanted insurance in case something came up before we traveled, or while we were there, since it was such a major investment for the five of us. The John Hancock policy was perfect. InsureMyTrip.com made it easy to compare policies. Will shop here again.
