We bought an insurance package from TruTravel last year for a trip to Tanzania, and had to file a claim when my husband and son's portion of the trip was delayed due to weather at Heathrow. Their added expenses of new air tickets, hotel, transportation and food in London, and the part of the prepaid safari they missed in Tanzania, was mostly covered and we received $10,000 for trip delay and interruption. We worked Kelly Nelson at TruTravel who was extremely helpful and cooperative. We were more than pleased with the outcome.

It's hard to evaluate the coverage since I was lucky to not need to file a claim. I assume I would have been just as happy if I had a problem that needed to be covered.
