We use Insure my Trip for all our travel. We made a medical claim several years ago and we had no problems with getting reimbursed. I would highly recommend this company!

Flight cancelled due to snow and wind storm. Airport closed the whole day and limited the next day. Not covered by ins. Paid $272 and coverage when you really need it was not there.

However, you did note in your review that you did not file a claim with Nationwide. Although we cannot predetermine a claim, you may have had coverage under the policy if you had contacted the Nationwide Claims Department at (888) 490-7606. My trip was canceled by airline because of the weather. I was able to get refund outside of insurance. All left overs were reimbursed by NW
