Unfortunately, we had to cancel our trip at the last minute because of a death in our family. When I called to find out what was necessary to file a claim, the agent emailed me all of the necessary documents immediately. Once the required information was submitted, I received the payment for our claim within about 10 work days. We're certainly glad we had this coverage.

We shopped around for insurance to cover our Alaskan cruise and this was a far better policy and price than was offered by our travel agent. Having insurance gave us the comfort that if something did happen before or during our trip that a majority of the pre-paid cost would be covered.

Paperwork for the Nationwide plan with contact information for filing a claim and coverage could be simplified. I do not have a smart phone so the mobile application didn't do me any good.
